Under what circumstances are you typically grateful? A close parking space at the mall, getting that raise at work, friends that remember your birthday. Things that you already have in your life. We believe we need a reason to feel gratitude.
    Ask yourself this, can you feel “thanks” for something that hasn’t happened to you yet? If so, you’re changing your perspective from “cause and effect, to causing an effect.”
