What is an affirmation?

An affirmation is a declaration that something is true. 

Affirmations refer primarily to the practice of positive thinking and self-empowerment, fostering a belief that a positive mental attitude supported by affirmations will achieve success in anything. More specifically, an affirmation is a carefully formatted statement that should be repeated to one’s self. For an affirmation to be effective, it needs to be present tense, positive, personal and specific.

Using custom affirmations has the potential to bring out the best in you. Long utilized as a positive way of developing yourself, affirmations can help build you up by course correcting your actions with your ideal goals. Since they are tailored for you, affirmations can help you create the laser focus to turn your desires into reality.

What is Neuroplasticity?

Neuroplasticity refers to the fact that the brain can change due to its own activity. The brain is not fixed but rather a dynamic entity, which physical structure changes according to its use and environment. That means the things we do often we become stronger and better at, and what we don’t use fades away.

How does I-am-It-Affirmations work?

I have designed a way to develop and enhance your own success by combining the skills of music production with positive thinking. Together we produce a personalized affirmations track utilizing the power of your own voice. Other brain reprogramming programs exist but what i have to offer is unique. Currently available programs all want to reprogram your brain for you.What I have developed is a way for YOU to control of the programming of our own brain. And what I developed has sky rocketed me to my new life.

We will start with coming up with a powerhouse of personalized custom affirmations, that you, the client will record reading them to a voice memo on any smartphone or computer. Once you are satisfied with the recording you send them to me.  I’ll add ambient music of your choice, but here’s the kicker- the first half of your track I pull the affirmations audio volume down just below ear shot. So while you are visualizing your amazing new you, your voice is bypassing your conscious filters and starting the process of re-wiring the neural nets in your brain. In the second half of the track your voice comes in and you then repeat after yourself the affirmations you have selected to transport you to your new life.

For a 2 minute demonstration of what your personalized track would sound like put on some head phones and press play. At 30 seconds into the track I lower the ambient sound to let you hear what audio masking your voice will sound like.

What if I feel awkward when I say my affirmations out loud?

It’s alright; it will feel uncomfortable at first, but just keep doing it. Your brain knows it is going outside of its safety zone. You might think this affirmation is not true. In this process you are designing your beliefs before you believe them. Try saying them in front of a mirror, and when you start feeling comfortable do it, you’ll know that your brain is being rewired with your affirmations!

Why don’t I hear my voice recording in the first half of my track?

When I create your IAIA track, I use a technique called auditory masking. Behind the ambient music is the recording of YOUR voice reading YOUR affirmations at a volume just below the earshot of your conscious hearing. What that does is bypass your conscious filters and is streamed directly into YOUR subconscious mind.

How long will it take for me to see results?

It depends on how much you effort you put into your affirmations.  Studies have shown that with repetitive reconditioning you can create new neural pathways in about 28 days. You can check out an experiment from NASA here testing the reprogramming time of your mind HERE.

What happens if I stop my affirmations for a while?

It’s like going to the gym, you can give it your all and see quick results, or you can just go a few times a week. The most important thing is that you are going. If you stop using the newly created neural pathway, atrophy sets in and they will deteriorate. It’s that simple.

What if I don’t see any changes at all?

Start with your affirmations, are you being clear about what you want? Next, you must understand that they are thought seeds. You must water them and give them time to grow. Also it’s all a matter of perspective. If you are looking for how it is not working in your life then that is what you will see. If you are looking for the beautiful synchronistic ways that your affirmations are showing themselves in your life, then they will increase. “You will see it when you believe it.”

If I start at one level and I want to move up to the next level, is there a discount for that?

If you have started your service and wish to expand to the next program, we will deduct your time for the difference of the next program. By paying for the remainder of the next package level, you will get a longer duration and the extra value that comes with that.

What is the guided relaxation exercise?

Its a simple meditation i compiled focusing on your breath and using the mantra “I AM IT.” This is to slow down your brain waves in preparation for your recording. In order for your track to be the best you must be in a relaxed state of mind when you record your affirmations. Everyday you will be hearing yourself from this state of mind and it will communicate to your body when you listen to it. If you just drank a ton of coffee and were speaking a million miles a minute when you recorded, your body would start to produce the same chemicals from when you recorded.
